Summary:
As a Human Resource Coordinator at Grower Direct Nut Company, you'll be instrumental in facilitating HR processes across all our business locations.
From administering health and welfare plans to resolving benefits-related issues and ensuring compliance with regulations, your role will be central to our employee-centric approach.
Additionally, this position will involve investigating employee complaints and completing any necessary follow-up reports to address concerns effectively.
Key
Responsibilities:
Assist with in the administration of health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Collaborate with departmental managers to facilitate the hiring of qualified candidates and conduct new hire orientation.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing employee inquiries and requests promptly.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Conduct audits and recommend corrective actions to improve HR programs and initiatives.
Conduct thorough inquiries into employee concerns and grievances to ensure a fair and transparent resolution process and complete any necessary follow-up reports to address concerns effectively.
Support the HR Manager in various tasks, including recruitment, performance reviews, and employee recognition programs.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Kronos, Dayforce, or Paylocity.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Knowledge of social media management for recruitment purposes.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically Exceptional organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Working knowledge of human resource principles and practices.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes demanding environment.
Must be proficient in generating and analyzing reports using Word and Excel.
Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred or at least 5 years of relevant experience required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods.
Capability to lift up to 30 pounds when necessary.
