This position is 2 days working 12:
15am to 8:
45am and 2 days working 10pm to 6:
30am schedule, working a 4on/2 off rotation.
Our Med Tech's are passionate about providing friendly, quality, and attentive service to our residents.
Your primary role is to oversee the medication room, medication distribution and documentation pertaining to resident's medication and health concerns.
You are a liaison between residents, resident's families, physicians/professionals, and employees, while ultimately ensuring all aspects of the shift run smoothly and efficiently.
You may also assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, preparing meals, and performing light housekeeping.
Skills and abilities needed to be a Med Tech include:
Good judgment and ability to recognize early signs of illness and/or the need for a higher level of care.
Ability to perform a broad range of simultaneous duties.
Great communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with a team of dedicated employees across the Samaritan Village campus.
Ability to effectively resolve conflict.
Ability to work independently.
Requirements Candidates are required to have or obtain a First Aid Certificate and pass a pre-employment DOJ/FBI criminal record clearance, TB test, drug-screen, and employment history/professional reference verification, must be 18 years of age or older and fluent in English.
